Building Really Big Systems with SAFe

SAFe’s Business Solutions and Lean Systems Engineering competency defines eight practices that guide the construction of large cyber-physical systems and IT business solutions. The principles describe how to apply Lean-Agile principles and practices to the specification, development, deployment, and evolution of these large, complex solutions. This workshops presents these practices and has participants explore how to apply them in their context.

Intended Audience: Practitioners that build large and complex systems, which may require multi-year roadmaps, complying with regulations, hardware and other long lead-time items. Typically, these solutions necessitate aligning multiple ARTs, and/or suppliers and Solution Trains.

SAFe for Government – Europe

The new SAFe for Government guidance and courseware describe a set of success patterns that help public sector organizations implement Lean-Agile practices at scale. Since the initial launch of SAFe 4.6, our team has been diligently collaborating with practitioners and partners across the world to build a government update that is less U.S. specific and more adaptable for use in any public sector program. This workshop will provide an overview of the updated course and how it has been architected to support a modular approach to country-specific content. Participants will also experience interactive problem-solving exercises aimed at addressing the most common challenges to adopting SAFe in a government program.

Intended Audience: Government agencies and practitioners that currently support SAFe implementations in government programs internationally, or who have opportunities to tip government agencies toward Lean-Agile and DevOps adoption using SAFe.
