The search is on for tales of SAFe journeys that lead to business success, culture and technical breakthroughs, world-changing innovations, and organizational transformations. If you’re thinking: “Hey, I have a compelling story and I’m excited to share my knowledge!”—we’re excited to receive your submission. But first, read through our guidelines below on eligibility and get tips for creating a winning submission.
We are now accepting applications for customer stories. The deadline to submit a proposal is 20 December 2019.
Selections will be based on multiple factors and time available. Notifications will be sent by 31 January 2020.
Your presentation should tell an inspiring story that illustrates how you are using SAFe to positively impact business outcomes.
To be eligible to submit a proposal and present a customer story at the 2020 European SAFe Summit, you must be an employee of the organization that is the subject of your story. If you have a co-presenter, they must also be an employee of the organization. Your proposal must be received by 20 December 2019 to be considered.
The customer story submission form should take you a minimum of 20 – 30 minutes to complete. Please be as thorough as possible. The more thought you put into your submission, and the more detail you provide, the easier it will be for us to evaluate your story. Even if you have worked with Scaled Agile team members and believe that we are familiar with your SAFe journey, don’t assume that everyone reviewing your story will be in the know, so make sure your story is fully expressed in your submission.
Only proposals submitted via our submission form will be accepted. We kindly request that you do not send us separate emails with speaker applications—they can get lost in the shuffle! We evaluate submissions based on multiple factors including company, industry, development environments, challenges, speaker experience, culture breakthroughs, unique aspects, and results. See below for topics that are of particular interest this year.
All submitters should expect to hear from us by 31 January 2020 with the status of their submission. Our team will be in touch with any questions or any action items needed before selections are made. If you have any questions in the meantime, do not hesitate to reach out to Regina Cleveland, customer story track chair. Because we are evaluating submissions in the context of the overall agenda, and we anticipate that we will have more submissions than the agenda will accommodate, not all submissions will be accepted.
Selected speakers will receive conference registration for the two-day main conference and two hotel nights. The speaker benefit applies to main presenters only. Co-presenters are not eligible for speaker benefits.
We look for implementations that been in place for at least a year, ideally with well documented results and candid learnings of challenges and wins. Here are some topics that are of interest in 2020:
