Delivering Better Business Outcomes with a Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE)

The Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) is a small team of people dedicated to implementing the SAFe way of working. It’s often one of the key differentiators between companies practicing ‘agile in name only’ and those enterprises that achieve the best business outcomes.

In this session, we will provide practical guidance on determining the size, structure, and operation of the LACE based on actual field experience. The topics to be covered include:

  • Demonstrating the value of the LACE, its purpose, responsibilities and recommended team size
  • Chartering the LACE and identifying critical stakeholders
  • Defining the mission of the LACE, its scope and success criteria
  • Running the LACE as an agile team
  • Evaluating organizational models for scaling the LACE
  • Supporting the LACE activities for SAFe implementation and driving relentless improvement
