Where is the 2020 European SAFe Summit being held?

The 2020 European SAFe Summit will be held in The Hague, Netherlands at the World Forum.


What is the cost to attend the 2020 European SAFe Summit?

Please refer to the Event Pricing page for a complete breakdown of fees and discounts.


How do I make a hotel reservation?

To reserve your hotel room through one of the various local hotels, please click here.


Will a team discount be available?

Group discounts for teams of 5 or more are available at 1350 € + VAT per person for the European SAFe Summit, Main Conference.

What meals are included in my registration fee?

Meals are based on your individual registration type. You must be registered for the specified day in order to receive a meal. Meals associated for each day are as follows:

What if I am having difficulty registering or need to make changes to my SAFe Summit registration?

If you are having difficulty or would like to make changes to your registration, please contact The SAFe Summit registration team.


How do I make a wire transfer payment for my registration?

If you have selected to pay registration via a wire transfer, you can download the wire instructions. If you have any additional questions, please contact The SAFe Summit billing team.


What is your Refund/Cancellation Policy?

You may cancel your main conference participation at any time, but please be aware of the event cancellation policy listed below:

  • If you cancel on or before 25 May 2020, you will be refunded your registration fee less a 10% administrative processing fee
  • If you cancel on or after 26 May 2020, you will not be eligible for a refund, but may transfer your registration to another party until 1 June 2020

Can I cancel my workshop and get a refund, but still attend the main conference?

You may cancel your workshop participation at any time, but please be aware of the workshop cancellation policy listed below:

  • If you cancel on or before 8 May 2020, you will be refunded in full for the workshop
  • If you cancel after 8 May 2020, you will be charged a 50€ administrative processing fee

May I transfer my registration to someone else?

You may transfer your registration to another person at any point before 2 June, 2020. If you have registered with a special discount and would like to send someone in your place, the substituted person must also present verification to qualify for the discount and may be subject to a pricing adjustment.

How do I become an Exhibitor?

What if I want to bring a guest?

Other Conference Details


How do I request a media pass?

Media passes are reserved for members of the press, including print and online journalists and editors. Media passes will not be issued to publishing, sales, marketing, advertising, public relations, or technical-support staff from any organization.

You are strongly encouraged to preregister for your media pass. If you must register onsite, you will be asked to validate your credentials. Acceptable validation includes a business card listing your publication or organization and your title, along with a copy of a recent publication that contains your article or story (or a copy of a briefing you recently issued). If you are an online journalist, please send a copy of a recent article with the URL to where the article can be found online.

Can I earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) by attending the SAFe Summit?
Yes, for attendees who are interested in recording Professional Development Units as part of their SAFe Summit attendance, we are offering the following:

SAFe Summit – Day 1 (10 June
7 PDUs

SAFe Summit – Day 2 (11 June)
7 PDUs

These numbers are based on attendance at all events offered during each day of the Summit.

You can claim Continuing Education PDUs for the SAFe Summit by following these steps:

  • Log into the PMI Website
  • Click on the Report PDUs tab on the left side of the page
  • Click on Course or Training
  • For the two days of attending the SAFe Summit, enter the name of the event “SAFe Summit” and name of the provider “Scaled Agile, Inc.” (The course and provider name will not appear in the drop-down menu. You can simply type the information and select nothing from the dropdown)
  • Enter the date started and completed, and enter the number of PDUs accordingly. Each day of the SAFe Summit = 7 PDUs.

How can I tell you about my special physical/dietary needs?
All conference meals will be served buffet style and will include a vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy-free option. If you have additional physical or dietary needs that need to be addressed, please indicate those needs during the registration process in the physical or dietary needs notes section and we will be happy to try and accommodate your request.

What is the dress code?
Conference attire is business casual. We do recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket with you since personal preferences vary regarding room temperature. 

Is there a code of conduct policy?
Yes, the SAFe summit has a code of conduct. Summit participants—whether attendees, speakers, staff, exhibitors, or sponsors—shall conduct themselves at all times with professionalism and civility, and demonstrate respect and courtesy to all. Scaled Agile reserves the right to rescind registration or attendance at the Summit in its discretion for violations of this policy.

Are there speaking opportunities available?
Would you like the opportunity to be a speaker at the 2020 European SAFe Summit? This year’s agenda includes Community Voices, where you can submit your idea for a 25-minute talk at the conference. All proposals for Community Voices will be voted on by registered attendees. Submission instructions coming soon! All of our technical talks are by invitation only.


What if I need to cancel my hotel reservation?
If you need to make changes to or cancel your hotel reservation, please contact the hotel’s reservation department directly.

What airport should I fly into?
Amsterdam Airport (AMS)

The World Forum, The Hague is approximately 35 minutes from the airport in Amsterdam. A taxi will cost approximately €65.
